Students can hardly realize entrepreneurship first-hand in their daily campus life. The DII Collaborative Graduate Program for Accelerating Innovation in Future Electronics offers the First-year Short-term Overseas Internship as a means of motivating program students effectively. Some of the students undergo training to improve their English language skills shortly after the first year begins, and three months later participate in short-term overseas internship training, which is characterized by the promotion of a change in the students’ mindset at an early stage. During the internship training, students are expected to learn the approach of interpreting things from global and business perspectives through activities such as directly interacting with entrepreneurs of the same generation who play an active role in the international arena.

Examples of the activities include a several-days-long exchange program with the National University of Singapore.
