――The aim of this short-term intensive education program was to enable students majoring in engineering to turn technologies they have into businesses. Faculty members witnessed the students growing rapidly.

I gained many friends at NTU and valuable knowledge in the GMWS program

ENDO Meguru, DII 2nd-batch student, Majoring in Electronics

This was the first time I have been out of Japan, so I was very excited and also nervous. But, GNWS program started!
We had poster presentation and cultural talk session with NTU students. It was difficult to explain my research to NTU students because there were students who specialized in different fields such as psychology and engineering.
Then, Ideathon started. In the Ideathon, a group of five people consisting of three NTU students and two NU students was formed. Our group received the most practical award at the midterm pitch. In the final pitch of Ideathon, all groups were more specific and their ideas were even more sophisticated than at midterm pitch. In the Ideathon, I learnt what part of an idea should be considered when discussing various ideas toward polishing one idea.
After this competition, we had a farewell party and had a chili crab in a restaurant. This party was followed by a second party where we had beer and had many memorable times with NTU and NU students.
My first overseas trip was very memorable, and I could make many new friends from NTU and valuable knowledges.
